Eric T. Silberg, M.D.
Dr. Silberg is a surgeon and scholar, with long-term roots in the Wolverine State. Educated at the University of Michigan where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 1989, Dr. Silberg was then elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree in 1993.
His postdoctoral training was at the University of Michigan Hospitals, where he completed his Internship in general surgery and Residency in orthopedic surgery. His private practice began in 1998 when he began treating patients and helped establish Michigan Orthopedic Specialists. Dr. Silberg is actively involved in community service and is currently a speaker for the Arthritis Foundation.
Dr. Silberg is the active Medical Director for the Orthopedic and Neuroscience service line in the Oakwood Healthcare System. He is pursuing excellence in orthopedic care and service throughout the Oakwood System.
The focus of Dr. Silberg’s practice is knee, hip and shoulder surgery. He treats patients for sports injuries and performs total joint replacements for arthritis every week.
