Meet the Staff
The members of the Michigan Orthopedic Specialists staff are experienced and caring people that are will help ensure your visit is positive. They can assist you in making an appointment, familiarizing you with our facilities, and keeping you informed on how you can help make the most of your care and treatment.


Dearborn Staff

Carol Tylutki, R.N., O.N.C.
Nurse Clinician

Carol earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing after her Associate degree in Nursing.  She has worked with the Michigan Orthopedic Specialist practice since 1999 as a Nurse Clinician.  Previously she was a Head Nurse in Orthopaedics at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center for almost 20 years.  She was also instrumental in the development and implementation of clinical pathways for total joints in the Oakwood Healthcare System.

In her free time Carol enjoys golfing and sings in her church choir.  She also is a volunteer parish nurse in Dearborn.

Karl E. Wolfe, PA-C, MS
Physician Assistant

Karl Wolfe earned his Master of Science degree in Medicine with Physician Assistant Studies at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. Here, he was recognized by faculty for high clinical achievements in his class. Following graduation in 2001 he has worked with Dr. Sorce in his very successful private practice, assisting in both the surgical and clinical office visits.

In preparation for a career in medicine Karl earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI. He was also employed at the University of Michigan as a clinical coordinator in the Department of Pathology. Karl additionally held positions as a surgical instrument tech at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, and a lab tech at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey, MI.

In his free time Karl enjoys hunting, fishing, and recreational drag racing.

Sarah L. Bone PA-C, MS, ATC
Physician Assistant

Sarah joined Dr. Sorce’s busy and very successful orthopaedic practice after spending time in his office as a physician assistant student. In 2004 Sarah received her Masters of Science degree in Medicine for Physician Assistant from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. She completed her undergraduate education at Albion College with a double major in Chemistry and Exercise Science, and graduating magna cum laude with Albion College Honors. While in P.A school Sarah was also able to pass the National Athletic Trainer’s Certification exam to become a certified Athletic Trainer.

Prior to joining Dr. Sorce and Karl in the clinic and surgery, Sarah worked with a family physician providing care for patients of all ages. When she is not in the office Sarah enjoys running and cycling.
