Dr. Lawrence G. Morawa, M.D.
A skilled surgeon, scholar and researcher, Dr. Morawa is a Detroit native and a true Wolverine who once played on the football team of the University of Michigan.

He pursued his love of medicine in Ann Arbor, earning his doctor of medicine degree there in 1967. He served his Internship and part of his Residency at the Oakwood Hospital before entering the U.S. Air Force for a two-year tour of duty.

On returning to civilian life, Dr. Morawa completed his Residency in orthopedic surgery at Wayne State University, and then began his private practice in 1974.

Dr. Morawa has been the author or co-author of dozens of scholarly articles on orthopedic practices and has lectured throughout the U.S., as well as in Mexico, South America, Australia, and Japan. He has also taught orthopedics at Wayne State University.
